  The place has an pretty amazing selection of salt water fish. Also has a solid selection of aquarium accessories. And decent prices. However the atmosphere in the store was sombre and heavy as if someone had recently passed. Also, staff seemed oddly quiet and subdued. Good place to pick things up if you know what you want.

  One of the best customer experience all around. I've been dealing with J&L for nearly 12 years and the service the staff provide is second to none. From emails to telephone calls I've received prompt, accurate, and knowledgeable information from almost everyone there. I shop online at J&L and from time to time I inquire about fish with pictures and most time they are able to send me pictures. I wished I live in Burnaby so I can visit the store as the selection of dry goods and livestock is fantastic, price is very competitive with any vendor in Canada. Keep up the good work J&L
